Ya ill try to do it tonight after i get home.I had a 18 hp on a 14-36 flat bottom it would run 20 to 21 with two guys.I just moved up to a 23hp and dont know what ill get yet but hope to find out this weekend. The 23 hp weights 155lbs dry. They ran my 23 on a 16-50 and got 24mph out of it so im hopeing it will push mine faster than that old boat should go.There have info on Dixies web site dixiemudmotors.net

Sorry got buzy
the 6.5 hp weighs 87lbs for 10-12 foot hull somewhere around15-18mph
10 hp 120lbs for 12-14 hull 16-20mph
16 hp 155lbs for 14-16 hull 18-23mph
23 hp 170lbs for 15-18 hull 18-23mph
Now these are guesstments
I have a 23 hp on a 14-36 and im running around 25 mph with 2 guys in the boat but thats a very lite boat no gear

Not to sound like a dick, but Dixie MM will never be a sponsor on MMT, because manufacturers aren't allowed to be sponsors. Now, if you own a store or lawn mower shop that just happens to sell mud motors also, then you're more than welcome as a sponsor. Just try to keep in mind that there's a fine line between being a sponsor that happens to sell MM's and being a car salesman. I wish Dixie all the best, but don't want to see this place turn into a bunch of salesmen trying to push their products on us. We have enough of that chit already with the pom pom gang.

Which is funny, because of all the boat manufacturers. Not starting anything, just wanted to point that out. Maybe because it is a mud MOTOR site, not a mud boat site.

Well i've got around 30 hours on my 23 it runs great i'm get around 25 mph in a 14-36 with 2 guys in it.I have to have sand bags in the front to run alone(to much wieght in the back) the boat didnt have a leak in the thing till i got it.Its a 1977 and i have broke 2 of the ribs and cracked 3-4 more.We dont have the deep thick mud in Utah just sand.i dont know if its just a light boat but i have no prob starting out in 2-3 in of water.Theres a few here in Utah and every one likes them.Sorry it took so long to answer back kina forgot about the tread.

I have a 23 and I've taken it out twice now. Not too bad. I get great speeds. Only thing is the belts making some noise but I think I got some salt caked on it. Customer service could def use some help. But the price you are paying and product you get is not bad.
