Well i've got around 30 hours on my 23 it runs great i'm get around 25 mph in a 14-36 with 2 guys in it.I have to have sand bags in the front to run alone(to much wieght in the back) the boat didnt have a leak in the thing till i got it.Its a 1977 and i have broke 2 of the ribs and cracked 3-4 more.We dont have the deep thick mud in Utah just sand.i dont know if its just a light boat but i have no prob starting out in 2-3 in of water.Theres a few here in Utah and every one likes them.Sorry it took so long to answer back kina forgot about the tread.

I have a Dixie mud motor, I am about to upgrade to the all new aluminum frame to shed off some extra pounds.

I have a 23 and I've taken it out twice now. Not too bad. I get great speeds. Only thing is the belts making some noise but I think I got some salt caked on it. Customer service could def use some help. But the price you are paying and product you get is not bad.

I'm new to the site, but decided to join when I started reading the Dixie mm post. I can tell you that I finally decided to order a 23hp a few weeks ago .
