I am trying to get a radio for my boat. I have seen some guys make them with, well it looks like some big pvc pipe to mount the speakers to. Anyone done this? I dont really have a place to mount the speakers, and would like for the radio to come out when I do not need it. Also would like an ipod to hook up to it. Any suggestions? |

I used 6" pvc with 45*'s on each end to mount da speakers in. mount ur amp inside & drill holes for ur power cord and ur input cable (IPOD or MP3). you'll need to glue a piece of 6" into ur 45* to give a mouting surface to screw ur speakers to. |

I'm runnin a Fusion 150W amp that I found at a local audio shop and 2 Infinity Marine 2-ways that I been havin' in an ice-chest radio & don't remember where I ordered them... it freakin rocks. The bazooka marines sound awesome too. Don't have any pics, search stanco's posts..... he put sum up a while back. |
