This is my resently completed shallow water rig. I built it to run the ocmulgee river (middle georgia), to get to those hard to reach fishing spots. I built it from a blank 1232 Alumacraft. It runs 13mph upriver and 15mph downriver with me, trolling motor, battery, anchor, cooler, extra fuel, and fishing tackel. I build the motor off a HF Predator 212cc. I added a GX160 head and flywheel, 18lb valve springs, advanced the timing 8 deg, 265 cam, removed the gov., exhaust, uni air filter, jetted the carb w/092 main and 140 emulsion tube. 7x4 prop. I added a stand up handle that is removable for fishing. |

noticed you used C clamps for your transom bracket. keep an eye on them, most are made from cast metal and are prone to cracking after welding. I'd put a bolt through the transom if you don't already have one. just a heads up. nice work. |

Thanks, i will keep an eye on them. I may just build a more permanent mount with bolts through the transom. |
