Just heard NO house boats in the Wax or Delta this year, due to cost of up-keep! Man this will suck if it holds true.. Anyone else hear the same thing? |

What is the reasoning behind it? What kind of costs of upkeep do they have. Seems like they could just raise the cost to keep it there and it would cover it |

You can still bring in your houseboat, just have to get the permit through a different outlet. |

the delta has a real nice camping area out there, i dont mind sleeping in a tent one bit out there |

i herd the reasoning behind it was the main delta needs to be dredged to get the camps in and they dont have the funds for it so they shut it all down even on pas-a-loutra in venice talked to couple people trying to get it overturned the wax dont have any maintenance at all so i dont know why they shut it down |

Have a camp on pas a loutre in venice not a house boat but havebt heard anything about it there my buddy had a camp at the wax and got a letter saying it cant be there this year but leased land can still have them just be a longee boat ride now but the stage 2 outa pull thru for me on that note |
