 MMT Moving to a New Server! Yep, you heard right, MMT is moving to a new, faster mo betta server in the very near future! I've been just as aggravated as you guys with the max connection errors so it was past time to make the move. It will be a little while while I get everything ready on the new server and test it out before the big move but the site should run faster.
We'll be on a VPS, (virtual private server) meaning we'll have dedicated resources just for us.
Thanks for the patience guys, this is a great step in the right direction for the site!

Re: MMT Moving to a New Server! - UPDATE Ok folks, makin' progress on the server move. I have everything moved over to the new server and only have a few things left to import into the new database which are the actual posts. All the forums are there now as well as users so we haven't lost anything in the move.
I've disabled new registrations here for now so we don't have new folks being lost and having to re register.
Also, some of the newer posts may not be there as I've backed up the database again today before exporting, so everything posted after 6pm may not be there.
That's it for now, we should be moved over in the next few days or sooner if everything goes well.
