Why does it seem like more are useing the Customfitz 27w vs. the 40w? There is not much differance in power usage, but seems to be alot brighter. Also if I will have a deck that is 84' wide and 6 ft long how many should I use? Had metal halide on my other boat so not used to the light that these LEDs can actualy produce. ONe more question does anyone use these in merky water, and how do they do? |

I have 28 27watt on mine love them!! My front 20 are 10" apart I think you can space them a Little wider I think 16-18 would be perfect my back 8 are wider space not sure on the measurement but they do well just for 8 |

DDM, And all of your lights run off of 4 batteries which charge off of your 2 GTR CDIs right. |

I am having 10 50w LEDs put on my boat. Have heard nothing but good things about the 27's and even better things about the 50w LEDs. Get on bowfishingcountry.com and there are a lot of reviews |

Made up my mind ordered 12 50w SeeLite brand. Just seems like parts are starting to accumulate for this build... |

How many of what size batteries are you planning for the 12 50's? That's 50 ah on a 12 volt and 25 ah on 24 volt, right? |

Gonna run 120v AC and a 1000w genny No charging issues and no battery issues, and no added weight due to batteries. |

I just bought two of their lights for testing purposes what distance you putting them apart? I am going 12 50watt 120v on the front. Four on front and four on each side. |

couple batts prolly weigh almost twice that lil genny. my 1000w genny weighs a lil bit more than 1 deep cycle marine batt. |

I don't know that 2 batts would do the trick for 12 lights so... 4 batts @ 60# each is 240#.... 1 1000w genny 28#. Big difference when you got a 35hp motor. |
