 Re: small arm treaty act
diceman, if you're going to enter a debate involving the nuances of internal trade and firearms laws, and the subtleties of our constitution, maybe you should try using proper spelling and grammar. Your posts read like a drunken teenager texting his girlfriend, and are impossible to take seriously.
Do a bit of research on the subject as Mr. Guidry suggested, look at both sides of the debate then take the time to form an intelligent retort. Letting your emotions get in the way of facts never help anything.

 Re: small arm treaty act
I personally think there should be more regulations on small arms purchases. It is entirely to easy for any idiot/freak off the street to go buy an assault rifle. To many people own guns that shouldn't, and most have very little to no training on their proper use.

 Re: small arm treaty act
Oh now Paleo, more regulations? How did that work out in the windy city and for DC? How often was an "assault rifle" used in the last few major shootings?

 Re: small arm treaty act
FOR ALL YOU THAT DON"T THINK THIS IS A BIG DEAL: PALEO HUNTER/DQUIDRY On july 27th 2012 the nations of the world are scheduled to meet in newyork to sign a global arms trade treaty (ATT) disguised as a way to prevent the prolifertion of small arms throughout the world,it is,in fact, a back door way to legislate gun controlin the U.S.A. and effectively repeal our 2nd Amendent. The ATT will set up a global body which will require all Nations to Regulate Firearms so that they can prevent their exportation to other countries. Inevitably, this will require countries to inventory the guns in private hands and to register them. A GUN BAN IS NOT FAR AWAY! The ATT, under the Supremacy clause of the U.S. Constitution would have the power of a constitutional amendment and would,Effectively,Repeal the 2nd Amendment guaranteeing us the Right to bear Arm's. We must fight to stop the U.S.A. from signing this Treatyand,if we fail, block the Senate Ratification! P.S. LIBERALS SUCK ,like i said on the first post, if your not a member, or support any groups that fight for the right to bear arms ,and the 2nd amendment ,then you are a sponge sucking off of others that do and i to like koolaid just hate Liberals

 Re: small arm treaty act
"The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing. Indeed, I would go so far as to say that the supply of arms to the underdogs is a sine qua non for the overthrow of any sovereignty. So let's not have any native militia or native police. German troops alone will bear the sole responsibility for the maintenance of law and order throughout the occupied Russian territories, and a system of military strong-points must be evolved to cover the entire occupied country." --Adolf Hitler, dinner talk on April 11, 1942, quoted in Hitler's Table Talk 1941-44: His Private Conversations, Second Edition (1973), Pg. 425-426. Translated by Norman Cameron and R. H. Stevens. Introduced and with a new preface by H. R. Trevor-Roper. The original German papers were known as Bormann-Vermerke.
