cant figure out how to access the old archives. i remember tony b said they were there. anybody know how to get to them?

The old site is still there, just no one can get to it.

I do plan on opening it up so folks can go back and get what they want. I did open it up a while back for at least a week or more, don't know how many took advantage of that.

Can you set it up to where it can only be viewed and not posted in? Could be an option for those looking for old material.

That could be done (locking the threads) , but the problem lies with people stumbling on the old forum and wanting to register, not to mention the spammers. The new board has alot better anti spam features than the old one.

Let's shoot for next week, I'll open it up for the entire week and yall can get what you want from it.

Why dont you give it like a different domain that only MMT members (on the new forum) can access?

You would have to log into the new MMT, then have a link somewhere on the new forum, then once you click the link, it takes you to the old forum.

Im no computer whiz, but it seems like a good idea.

To answer the other question, it's not as easy as moving it to another domain (or server) all of this is database driven and it would involve way too much work to accomplish.

There is a way to access the old site even when Tony locks it out or doesn't give the URL

If you didn't used to have your login set to auto you can't log in but can atleast access the info

Won't put up how on here if Tony doesn't want that info out there to the public but feel free to PM if you want
