I have to tell all of you something. I am in the process of building a camp boat out of a 25' Larson walk around cuddy cabin. Empty weight of this hull is 4,000 lbs. So far it has been closed in and decked over probably bringing the weight to 5,000lbs. A co worker and friend of mine, Broc Badeaux has moved it for me twice. This last time he moved it for me, he ran across Lake Fausse Point from his camp in Bird Island Chute to the levee in Charenton. When I tell you Pro Drive has the POWER to move things, they do! His boat pushed my heavy hull into the mud and up to the bank where I wanted it like it was nothing! That made a believer out of me as far as mud motors go. Pro Drive is where it's at.

Now, to disappoint you all, I will never own one because I have a thing for air boats. I am not taking anything away from them at all. If anyone is interested, check out the pictures of my build on airboat talk. My screenname on that site is kajun outlaw.

Pro Drives are bad ass and the way to go if you want a mud motor!

Im serious when i say, i do not see how you guys say they are so much faster. I give you the mud thing,,,i think the instant reverse in the mud is the key....But they must sell a special prop where yall from...Cause they damn sure aint 3mph faster here..
