Hi, Several posts point me towards mcmaster.com for grease seals, but there are about a dozen choices on the site. Which type of grease seals do I need to match with brass bushings? Thanks, Kendall |

if it was me i would get away from lip seals all together and get you a bearing isolater (inpro). no contacting parts, reuseable, never need to replace. |

Thank you for the reply. Reading between the lines, are lip seals what I need to go with brass bushings? Can you point me in the direction of a bearing isolator, I would like to check out that option. Thanks again, Kendall |

Kendall, you cannot use bearing isolators on a mud motor. You must use a lip seals to hold water out. You need to know your shaft diameter and the bore you wish to press the seal into.http://www.timken.com/en-us/products/se ... ature.aspx |
