I hace pretty much settled on the gtr 25. im undecided on whether to get the package deal from gatortail or just get the motor and have a boat built. Any advice is appreciated

Have the boat built. I seriously doubt gt's boats with the 25 will get optimum performance as some of these custom hulls have seen on here.

Go custom. There are alot of good builders on this site. You will be more pleased with a boat the way you want it! Draw something up and send it to some builders and see what they say!

Yeah thats what came up when i searched it he had the instagator but couodnt find anything about the boat builder

Jay Dore builds instagator boats. Some of the fastest boats around, but I do believe lucers was a .100 hull, which saves quite a bit of weight and increases speed.

Westi thats right, now thats a 16.5x46 shavin 30mph. A 1648 GT boat will hold 27 and bump low 28s. Let me ask this guidry, why not the 35?

Here is the best suggestion I can give don't get. 25hp get a 35hp there is no replacement for displacement .. Oh and gt hulls perform great but that just me . "Custom" boats cost the same after it's all over

budget is why I don't go with the 35, and the 35 I probably could get don't have reverse
