 Ordered new rig, what y'all think? I'm sure everybody is going to jump my arse about this but I just ordered a new rig.
Boat:18x48 war eagle that I had custom built in .125. They let me make my own layout out as well. It's bottomland camo, has duckbill with 2- 10" rigid LEDs mounted under it, gun box, high deck, trolling motor, 3 seat bases down middle of boat, pod seating in the back with seat bases in the pods as well
Motor: 35 gtr painted to match boat, reverse plate, marshemellow exhaust, three blade gt prop
I know it's not the typical surface drive boat but I called around and was told id be waiting 10-12 weeks for them so I decided to go with the war eagle. I will be using the boat for fishing and hunting. You guys think it will work out good for me?

Re: Ordered new rig, what y'all think? Congrats, not trying to kill your buzz but you would have been better off waiting for a different rig in the long run. War eagle makes their boats with 5052 and doesn't use longitudinal ribs. If you gonna use it to the full potential it may end up hooked bad before you know it.

Re: Ordered new rig, what y'all think? Yea I hunt in north la where there is lots of stumps so I will be able to tell you if it's going to hold up pretty quick. Plus I got on their pro staff so I got a cut on price and If it gives out on me I can probably twist an arm or two and get another one made

Re: Ordered new rig, what y'all think? As long as you don't run stumps, you should be alright. And if that's a ribbed bottom it isn't going to slide across mud as well. Should be fine fishing though.

Try not to hit any stumps in it. I've hooked 1/8 boats with longitudinal braces up here. Boat will hold up fine but with a mm and the abuse you will put it through up here it will be toast in a year or 2 unless you are careful.
And come out to the bayou sat so I can check it out and you can break it in right!!

Re: Ordered new rig, what y'all think? naw they are pretty bright, im mounting a 20" on top of the duckbill now for running light but I think the lights under the duck bill is plenty of light if you use a spotlight too
