I'm sure everybody is going to jump my arse about this but I just ordered a new rig. Boat:18x48 war eagle that I had custom built in .125. They let me make my own layout out as well. It's bottomland camo, has duckbill with 2- 10" rigid LEDs mounted under it, gun box, high deck, trolling motor, 3 seat bases down middle of boat, pod seating in the back with seat bases in the pods as well Motor: 35 gtr painted to match boat, reverse plate, marshemellow exhaust, three blade gt prop I know it's not the typical surface drive boat but I called around and was told id be waiting 10-12 weeks for them so I decided to go with the war eagle. Congrats, not trying to kill your buzz but you would have been better off waiting for a different rig in the long run. War eagle makes their boats with 5052 and doesn't use longitudinal ribs. Yea I hunt in north la where there is lots of stumps so I will be able to tell you if it's going to hold up pretty quick. Plus I got on their pro staff so I got a cut on price and If it gives out on me I can probably twist an arm or two and get another one made Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

As long as you don't run stumps, you should be alright. And if that's a ribbed bottom it isn't going to slide across mud as well. Should be fine fishing though. Edit**: you do run stumps. Good luck! |

A buddy of mine has the same boat with a 36 stock prodrive and it runs retty damn good and its a Bout 8 years old and still n great shape |

A little word of advice....... Try not to hit any stumps in it. I've hooked 1/8 boats with longitudinal braces up here. Boat will hold up fine but with a mm and the abuse you will put it through up here it will be toast in a year or 2 unless you are careful. And come out to the bayou sat so I can check it out and you can break it in right!! Sent from my beeper |

I was thinking about installing the same lights under my duckbill....does the grill block much of the light? |

naw they are pretty bright, im mounting a 20" on top of the duckbill now for running light but I think the lights under the duck bill is plenty of light if you use a spotlight too |
