Anyone running a Utah Marsh motor? I tried search with no results. I have an Alumacraft WATERFOWLER 15 AND MY 30 HP Mariner needs a part that is no longer available and the one I found they want  $700.00 for it. So now I am looking for a mudmotor for it :D Looking for info on Utah or any suggestions on what to look for. I am a newb to mudmotors.

Thanks,

Scott

Hey scott my name is steve and i looked into that mudmotor and talked to the owner not a bad price for it , but beware he will talk your ear off, but hes a nice feller. I did not like the motor that he has on them i think it is called a robin. I found it by typing www.utahmarshmotors.com And the site poped up does not have much to look at only 7.5s or 9 or 12s i think. But they also make a 25.

dont know much about the Utah motor, BUT I would get a Go Devil, they are pretty much the only mm mfg still making them. Mud Buddy has all but stopped it seems with limited models now. Warren Coco founder of GD made the very first US models and still makes them today. Give Warren a call, he too will talk your head off but in a good way. The man wants to make sure he sells you what you need, not what you dont need. That 23 Delta Waterfowl GD longtail is an industy legend. Torquey motor for sure.
I havent heard or read much here on the others out there like Beavertail, Stump Jumper, Bog Hog or Scavenger.

You thought about a shorttail motor ?

What is the difference between the Go Devil 27 and the Beavertail 27? The Beavertail is a little cheaper.

Mark is the owners name. he is a great guy! I live here in Utah and have dealt with him personally. he does excellent work for a good price. I actually first met him on this website, so he is a member on here. but anywho. to answer your question, If I were in the market for a new motor, or even motor work, I'd have him do it. just my 2 cents. :D
