Id get the 4 positon nob for sure great tune but if you like to run it hard id keep it on 60 hp tune and when you traveling or that badass pulls up on the side of you you can be at 150hp by the twist of a knob

Its badass. Had it on my LLY. Definatly nice having access to a knob to pick your horse power. I would also recommend a egt guage and boost guage to keep an eye on everything. Also you need to open your exhaust up to keep your egts down with the tunes. I got my efi from duramax tuner.

I've seen some of the stuff Kory does. He's one of the best. Idaho Rob does good work too.

My honest opinion, buy EFI Live and do it yourself.

Make SURE you have all the right instrumentation to monitor everything. Flying blind is a good way to burn your shit down.

I use EFI Live and HPTuners both. EFI Live is definitely the better way to go for the diesels...

I run Kory's tunes in my truck on a dsp5 switch...if you dont k ow anything about it just bring it to Kory or Calvins Automotive in sulphur...I run mine in 50 and 100 most of the time...I have a 0, 50, 100, 150 & 250hp tunes...2008 d-max. Its well worth the money.

I have run robs tunes on my lmm for about four years and 60k miles with no issues, truck is still running strong. I keep mine on 150 tune, gets best mileage, and turbo brake is very handy. what i recommend If your mechanically inclined, do it yourself save some cash, get gauges, edge insight, etc to monitor. I like the edge, can do codes, check balance rates, keep maintenance logs. I highly advise a Trans go, on the six speed ally its really not complicated and cost under a hundred bucks. I am still on stock Tranny with Trans go and Lil bigger pan.

Trans go is for five speed, Trans go jr for six. So yes you want trans go, since you have lbz. The five speed might aswell bldg since you have to disassemble like you said.
