I see an awful lot of gtr35 and prodrive 36 on skiffs around my area (Pigeon ,sorrel).I have a chance to pick up a motor at a good price for a backup and wondering what kind of performance you guys are getting out of these rigs. I think it would be alright for a woods rig. Also what length and width works good. I was thinking 18 x46 . This would be a good economical backup with a 35 gtr. |

I'm running a 20x36 skiff with a 36 pd all stock just a mm exhaustand iI'm getting about 27 out of it. The boat can go just about anywhere and it cuts through float better than any boat I've ever had. I'm now a big fan of the skiff. |

Thanks, I think I will rig one out for deer season. All cypress swamp where I hunt in the basin. Never have too many options around here. |
