Both of those motors do excellent in those areas. You should bring da boat you plan on runnig it on to Louriville and test drive both on it since they are right next to each other. |

Gator taill all the way baby, load no load it doesn't care it will perform all day and never quit. Had mine now for about 2 months and i wouldn't trade it for the world. |

Love my Prodrive and their customer service is second to none. Oh and I have 3 years on my motor

Both are great motors. I bought the Pro Drive primarily b/c I wanted the FPR. I can't telll you how often I use the reverse, especially now that is automatic. Just picking up decoys is now a breeze. When you need FPR it sure is nice b/c there have been a few times I would have been screwed with out it! I have no experience with Gator Tails, but the people who own them love them, which speaks volumes to me. I think the GT's may be a little faster on the top end, but I have nothing but good things to say about my Pro Drive. I have had it for four seasons, and no problems. If you maintain these motors properly and don't run them too hot, they will last. I would buy another PD with out hesitation. Peck and KP are solid stand up guys that stand behind their product. |
