So as I've said before I'm no where near anyone who sells a true mud hull boat such as Gator Tail, Gator Trax, Pro Drive ect.. BUT, I do have some Excel and Express dealers close to me. And for my next question!! Will either of the "E's" boats perform equally as good in the mud and nasty stuff as the "G's" when pushed by say a 44 or 55HDR? My gut is telling me that they will not, but I dont know jack shit about mud boats, so thats why Im asking you guys. And do you think the cost of a "E" rig would be comparable to the cost of a "G" rig from Bass Pro shops? |

Most places will ship you a boat. Probably cost you about 800 to ship it. I'm sure you guys could fudge the price to get you the boat if you got the kind of money a custom boat costs. As stated before many think excel is over priced. Usually that's my spot to preach, but if their saying it, I bet they are right. Alot of guys I know bought excel boats, as mentioned before. No stumps and no banging that bitch into rocks. It's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face. |

If you are seriously considering a MM don't waste time or energy on anything but a mud hull...Prodigy is in GA and another builder in SC that's not to far order it and drive to pick it up I promise you will be happy with a custom and the $$ will probably be better than the Trax boat from Bass Pro. |

The builder is Lowcountry fabrications and I have one of there boats. So far I like it built well and they can build whatever you want. Muddy Bay stocks loaded out boats that average above 20k they can order you one but you can do that yourself. The only east coast dealer for Prodigy that I am aware of is Kevin Lusik at Cooper River marine and he is a really nice guy and he deals with GTrax too. You can contact Prodigy directly they are in north GA. Ashley is very nice and helpful. |

You can't go wrong with a prodigy if you want a true mud boat. You can build it out to the way you want it which makes all the difference in the world to me. I love mine and won't have a different mud boat Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
