I have a 27hp GDSD and not sure what boat to get, i do want a slick boat but not sure of the size. This rig will used for hunting most of the time and also riding. I have plenty of option on the type of water but mostly shallow water with occasion big water lakes or river's I would like to get a 16' or 17" but not sure which won will fit this motor the best. |

Depending on the load you carry our experience has been the 1848 is the best overall performer with a 27 surface drive. Depending on where you are located, we can hook you up with a demo ride to see if you like the performance of various hulls with similar HP set-ups. PW |

i have a 27 hp prodrive on a 18'x48" boat and i run 28 to 29 mph on open water by my self the engine is all stock so i would perfer that the best to put a surface drive on it planes out a lot better with a heavy load. |
