Surface Drive on a Beavertail boat w/pods
Anyone running a surface drive motor on a Beavertail boat with pods?

I hate to be that guy but google "Mudmotortalk pods with surface drive".
I think you will find that you don't get the best performance out of pods and a surface drive. You're best bet will be to sell that hull and get something made for a surface drive.

Definitely not optimal, performance wise.

A PD worked ok on mine, but it wasn't ideal and reverse wasn't a possibility.
