I run in back water and shallow water with Lilly pads and stuff not to rough ,other boat I got motor on now is .80 thickness and never had problem with messing it up to bad I'm running my Prodrive on a regular welded job boat now with ribs on bottom it's a 1754 just wanting little smaller boat for what I do with it so was looking at different opinions think I wanta go with a 1648 don't want don't really see spending the big money on a custom build hull that thick and heavy . Really looking for a lighter ,durable hull my 25 will push pretty decent

Like to have 1648 for what I do but hope that it would hold a 36 hp motor too one day cause I plan on swapping engine sometime
