So guys got a lil issue. I have a 27hp pro drive did a kawasaki swap on it motor runs flawless only problem is that i cannot get speed. Its on a 18x36 skiff. I have a 24 honda longtail i used to have on it goes 20mph with it...... any ideas i wanna say prop is wrong size. It was a 32 generac used to be on it.. |

you put a big block kawa on it? what is the current diameter of your prop? how many rpms are you turning at what speed. all of this info will help with troubleshooting. #CFFITR #TheGhostBoat #whoneedsphysicsihaveamudmotor |

I put the fx751v prop is pretty worn down and im tryina get a tiny tach right now |

If you put a FX921V or FX1000V, you need a 12-12.5" diameter prop at minimum. Depending on your setup, these engines have lots of torque. |

Its gonna be trial and error. And it won't compare to the BIG block kawis due to the fact it has a different head design than ours. We have a 6 valve arrangement, yours is 4. Any performance items you do, cam, minkui or EFI, will also be trial and error. You'll have to make most of your parts the same way we did. |

block cracked in 4 different spots and welded a piston into the side of the block. |
