Post Need Help
I've searched all over the internet and two local parts stores. I can not find a replacement air filter for my 2013 Gator Tail 35hp. The parts store did different searches with my old filter in hand and couldn't find one. I am hopping one of you can tell me what is the replacement air filter for my motor.

What kind of engine is on it ?? Briggs? Kohler?
That’s what you need to search by.
There should be a model / serial # somewhere on the engine

Go to partstree.com, do a search on the model and code (for a Briggs, 613477-0121e1) will give you what you need to look. Then look in the appropriate category. That'll give you the part number to give your Briggs guy, or search Amazon or jacks small engines to get it ordered. I find partstree can be expensive for some parts vs other online options.

E-4665 is the k&n filter number for that motor. It's much better than the stock filter IMO.

Probably is a better filter, but you won't gain anything from it on a stock engine.
Until the carb and heads are worked to flow better, or if you run a lot of dusty areas (which is never), the stock air filter flows plenty for a stock 35, and filters all it needs to for a boat engine. Save the 23 dollars and buy the stock one or talk to some of these guys that mod engines and see if they have an old stock one laying around that they'll never use.
