Longtail in saltwater
I just got a used GDLT and was wondering whether anyone ever runs theirs in saltwater. If you do what kind of stuff do you do to prevent rust and any other bad side effects the salt might have? It’s not a galvanized frame.

Re: Longtail in saltwater
I’ve had a couple that I used in salt water. Just make sure it’s got a good paint job, and when you get out of the water spray a light coat of WD-40 And call it good. Especially the prop nut /bushing, and exhaust.. Heck, I still do that on my galvanized frame surface drive
