37hp gen 4 prodrive on 1754 excel
I have a 37hp prodrive and looking to mount it on a 1754 excel F4 Hull. Just trying to get some info on how it would perform and what my speeds would be. Thanks in advance.

Re: 37hp gen 4 prodrive on 1754 excel
I know there's a lot of info around on the Excel hulls, so make sure you search around to get more answers quicker.
What I do know, is that the transom angle is not ideal for prodrive hulls. Can't remember what the ideal angle is for PD, but Excel is designed with Mud Buddy in mind. That being said, I think the hull will perform just fine with that motor. I'd imagine with a light load and a good prop you'll be somewhere around 28-30 mph - that's just a guess though. PD tends to be a tad slower than other motor options.
