Post Re: 2019 Louisiana Sportsman’s Show
Made the run over there today (Friday)

Some good stuff being displayed out there. Very impressed with the GoDevil lineup. Still the simple, "get things done" rig but will go backwards, trim without a knob, and drive with a steering wheel. Good stuff. Tons of slick looking show boats out there from pretty much everyone. There were even a couple of those longtails from up north on display.

Only disappointment was I didn't get to see a 75hp Boss in the flesh. If one was on the premises I didn't find it. I wanted to really dig on one and didn't get the chance to.

All-in-all, good show. Worth the $12 gate. Lots of really nice gear there as well. The kids even had a good time.

LT’s from up north or out west? I didn’t see the up north listed on the exhibitors.

Gatortail posted a video from the show. In it I saw a XD “Pro”. Did anyone happen to check it out? What makes it so pro?

I got a call from PD around 6:00 today asking if I was still at the show.....guess I was one of the names drawn. Told them I wasn’t. If I was a little quicker on my feet, I would have told them, “Yes. Give me about 10-15 minutes and I’ll come by your booth....I’m eating.” That’s about how long it takes me to get to Lamar-Dixon from my house! LOL

I looked at the GT "pro".... looked like a GT with an unpainted frame to me lol old style handle and control box with the new style clutch cover. I didn't stay too long over there, I didn't want to end up with something that wouldn't wash off.

I walked through the gator trax display. Guess I had my head up my ass. I was also corralling my two girls. I'll use that as why I missed it

The Backwaters were over next to the Patriot boats. They had a full frame 40 mounted up on one.

With all those wires and shit sticking out, the first time I'd pulled into a wax myrtle blind, the limbs would pull em all off.
