I recently upgraded to the gen 4 calipers and bled the line as recommended in gatortails manual. When i squeeze the reverse handle, it goes pretty much all the way to the handle. The brake pads are closing on the rotor when i squeeze the reverse lever but it doesnt seem to have as much pressure as the gen 3 calipers i had. Is this normal for the gen 4s? I seem to remember with the gen 3 that when i would squeeze the lever, it would not get close to the handle.

Sounds like you still have some air. Try bleeding it some more.

Yep thats what it was. This may help someone else but i found the best way to bleed it is take the caliper off the mount, put it as low as possible, put the bleeder at the top, and it bled the little bit of air i still had in there quickly.

The gen 4 is a dual piston, which no matter what you do will have some give on first pump. Just do a couple squeezes and hold, your good. As for bleeding either caliper high or low just put bleed valves up and pump away.
