I just so happen to work for a seaplane business and have access to 100 low lead aviation fuel. The price is no different than premium non-ethanol, is there any reason i shouldnt run it in my prodrive? I cant think of any negatives Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You can but need to mix it. Only use about 30% or less mixed with unleaded. It'll build up lead deposits in the intake and chamber and will mess up the valve seats. I would advise against it. We used to do it and learned not to after a while. |

The only reason to run a high octane fuel is if your engine is built and needs its to perform properly. Av gas is not the way to achieve the higher octane numbers though. Best bet is to run VP 110 mixed at a 1:1 ratio with 93 octane pump gas. |

170 hours into a stage 3 running premium with and without ethanol, seafoam every tank, and no fuel issues yet. I replace the fuel line every 2 years. And if it's still in good shape, it gets moved to another boat. If not, trash. The first line was the gray line, trash in 2 years. Currently running some black marine fuel hose, no issues with it last replacement. Due for another replacement this fall. Keeping fresh gas and not letting fuel sit in the line is the best thing. Running premium on a stock LAWNMOWER engine isnt accomplishing anything 87 wouldn't accomplish other than using more of your money. I had minor detonation at 87 so premium is necessary and 91 or 93 is enough. Btw, make sure your buddies know what to fuel it up with when they offer to fill up the tank lol. The conversation that happened when I turned off the key after hearing that sound was hilarious. #CFFITR #GhostBoat #Whoneedsphysicsihaveamudmotor |

I put a tablespoon of all purpose white sand in with 93 octane. It eliminates that pinging noise from the muffler and makes it idle like a sewing machine. I also add a little to the oil to smooth out any machining marks from the Briggs factory. |

I’ve also heard your not supposed to run it in EFI engines. Lead will clog up O2 sensors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Some knucklehead will put sand in the fuel and oil. It will make it stop running effectively I bet. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk |
