Post Removing adhesive prior to paint
Gents, went ahead and cleaned my GT Extreme with dish soap and followed the steps written by reelfoot custom camo for paint prep, but I have a few patches of residue left from removing the GT decals. Anyone have a good method to get the residue off? Figure acetone should get it but don’t want to mess up the prep.

Ran out of light before getting the corners and touch ups done, but will finish paint tomorrow and then will put the hydroturf back in. That’s a pretty low light picture so it doesn’t look as crisp but it turned out pretty good for an amateur with a cheap spray gun.

Used the reelfoot custom camo natural gear with the red leg camo nat gear stencils. Worked out decent

Finished it up today. Added a the clear coat from the same pint provider. Currently have the boat sitting in a storage lot in full sun to cure. The paint looks a hair brighter in the pics than in person, and the clear coat should have less sheen once dry, but overall it looks good. Turf and decals go back on in a few days once cured.

I also removed the old drivers seat box and will use a cooler instead I like an open layout.

Given this was the before

And this is the after, I’m pleased.
