GDSD Powerhead Removal
Anyone have a step by step to remove the powerhead from the frame on a 23GDSD? Feel like it should be pretty straight forward, but don't want to cause myself any extra work by doing something wrong.

Re: GDSD Powerhead Removal
Godevil will send u a good service manual on it. It's pretty straight forward. The tapper lock,, remove the 2 allens, install one of them in the middle hole and tighten back down, then tap pulley with a deadblow . Don't tap that outer belt guide on the pulley. U will figure it out

Re: GDSD Powerhead Removal
Is it best to loosen all 8 bolts inside the belt/bearing housing to let the frame slide, then just re-tension the belt once it’s all back together?

Yes your correct, I figured the only thing that could stump you is the pulley

Re: GDSD Powerhead Removal
How tight of a window do i have to get the upper and lower pulley lined up? I used a straight edge across the flat face of the upper and lower pulleys, but the straight edge had a little flex in it. Will 0.050" of misalignment be an issue? thats just a guess of my +/-. Plan on letting it run on the trailer for a while with the panel off to watch and check for hard rub.
