Anyone use a bar or anything to support the motor while on the trailer? How does everyone leave the motors while in transport? Locking it up seems to put a lot of leverage on the transom . Thinking of making a bar from the trailer to the lower until to keep it from bouncing so much.

Do you run into stumps while in the water? I trim mine up and turn it to one side and that's it. If it's a name brand hull designed for a mudmotor, it's built for it.

My dad and I designed a turnbuckle brace we used on my crawfish skiff and my John boats that added a ton of strength to the transom. Might cost you about 50 bucks to put together and should fix your problem and give you peace of mind. If you want some pics of how we made it, feel free to PM me and I can send them to you bro. It won’t let me post a pic for some reason on the post
