Post subject:	Gator tail grt frame
Looking to upgrade boat hulls in the future. My current hull has a short transom would like to get one with a tall transom. But would like to keep my current motor. Just curious if I can change the frame? I know you can do that if I would have had a mud buddy. Just wondering if I would have to find one second hand? Also read in my search that gator tail doesn’t offer a frame change option due to liability.

You can get a tall transom belt housing and belt. You dont change the whole frame. #CFFITR #GhostBoat #Whoneedsphysicsihaveamudmotor

It’s not hard, but go ahead and pre/soak those nuts and have heat on standby. Galvanic corrosion will make those frame segments tight to remove but it can be done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

While you have it disassembled, if you have a 45 tooth gear on the out drive, get a 48 tooth gear and 48 tooth belt housing! Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
