rant on...look, I know it's real important for you to block both lanes of the ramp while loading your boat and letting your gtr run out of the water. And while that's really douchebaggy, it falls pale in comparison to what this psa is about..... While you are sitting there blocking the boat ramp because you obviously didn't have a daddy to teach you any better, TURN OFF YOUR FUKING SUPER BRIGHT HEADLIGHTS!!!!!!. YOUR DUMB AZZ IS BLINDING EVERY OTHER PERSON TRYING TO BACKUP THEIR RIG AND LAUNCH AROUND YOUR STUPID AZZ.

seen a old man smashing headlights at the boat ramp a couple weeks ago. he had the right idea.

oh, and what's up with all the obnoxiously loud mufflers on these lawnmower engines? got dayeem some of you folks ain't got a friggin clue. when I can hear you trying to pick up your dead scaup all the way across sandy cove, it's too friggin loud. airboats ain't that loud. of course I realize that you have to redline some of them mm's to make them backup. if gaining 1mph is worth ruining your hunt. then u need to find another hobby.

I actually LOL, because its all true. Its like they have to say to everyone, look at me. I noticed this about 5 years ago, but its really getting bad now. Guys are buying surface drives and don't hunt just because of the "cool" factor.

Preach on, to hell with the idiots with the headlights. Around here you also get the jackasses that have a boat and only use it when it's dead calm, sunny and hot to go boat riding. I think they're even worse because that can't back up a trailer, forget the plug or don't unhook the winch, all sorts of stupid shit just getting in the damn way.

Habitat loss is at epidemic proportions! Around here if it's growing in the water they spray it so people can run their pontoon boats. The lakes are brown murky water with mud and silt bottoms. Find somewhere with hydrilla or better yet eel grass or some other kind native S.A.V. and the water is clear and most times the bottom is a lot cleaner and free from silt and a lot firmer. Well time to get off my soap box, the higher elevation has given me a nose bleed. (rant Off)

2 favorite landing stories.

My wife and I beat a boat of guys to the landing on Mille Lacs it was the start of a nasty storm. We were in nearly identical boats, Range 620's. I drop the wife off to go get the truck(it was brand new too--we were young and had great jobs). Drunk SOB shouts oh great we're going to be here all F'n day waiting on her". Wife's a farm girl, but damn pretty. Backs the trailer in quick, and I load the boat and off we go to the tie down area. Mean while drunk dumbass is about to back his POS truck in. He must have made 5-6 attempts and jack-knifed several times. I yelled out...Hey asshole want my wife to back your trailer in for you...His buddy damn near fell out of the boat...

Other one was at a duck landing, two punks in a little jon cut me off and dumped their boat in the water. I waited. one runs to the outhouse the other to park the truck. I launch mine tie it up and notice their's is filling up with water. I wait until after they have their waders on and hands full to leave..I can see them and they could hear me if I yelled. I drive up by them, roll the window down and say,..did you boys forget to put your plug in?
