Hey Tony, I been trying to uplaod a picture for my avatar and it keeps telling me the file size is too large. How do I make the file smaller? |

I just bumped up the file size to 10000 bytes, (about 1 meg) You might try to just link it from somewhere else if that don't work. |

The pic is 17,000 bytes so it still won't work. I'm gonna try something else |

Got the avatars online now. I need someone to test the PD one, It shows up bigger than the rest, I need to see if it will resize correctly. |

Yea, it was an auto resize mod. I'm working on one to resize pics in a thread. I'll have to find one for avatars too. |

try - ImageResizerPowerToySetup - a free download from Microsoft site download.microsoft.com/download/.../ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe worked for me... set advanced size to 135 x 100 and it worked.... |

Willet. I myself am a member on many different boards and familiar with the avatar system and I cannot figure this out. Tony will have a fix i suppose. |

Brooks. go to the old forum page and right click the picture. Click Save as, then save it in my documents or any oter folder you wish. After that click on User control panel on this board. click profile, then click avatar. Then click th upload from puter button and go to my documents and click that picture and then click submit. zztop.gif |

Go to photot bucket select picture then resize it to 100x100 then save the new image. Then when appling as avatar in the size boxes put 100x100. Worked for me. Took a little while to figure it out but I got it. |

The maximum size for avatars is set to 150 x 100 |

Got it. link the picture like such and play with the size thingy on mmt and keep adjusting till you like its proportions and voila. |

I went to the profile .... put the click on avatar ... hit the browes button .... put the click on the little man thats now found and he be off in the MyDocuments ..... put 100x100 on the pixel thangy and .......... |

The avatar must be between 0 and 9 kib...WTF!!!!!! The avatar’s filesize must be between 0 and 9 KiB. The upload was rejected because the uploaded file was identified as a possible attack vector What link do i copy the DIRECT OR URL..... |

go to PB...resize to tiny (100x100) or small (160x120) Copy Direct Link into the "Link from other site" box then type in 100x100 in the last box it'll work |
