DIY upgrades?
I’ve always seen Delta performance upgrades and stuff like that, but are there any easy at home upgrades I could do at home? Something that wouldn’t cost an arm and a leg but would get a little more power or something

Re: DIY upgrades?
Depends on your ability and what you consider expensive!

Re: DIY upgrades?
If you sharpen your prop yourself, make sure you balance it properly, if not, be prepared for some major vibration and loss of performance.

Re: DIY upgrades?
I don't know that I would describe myself as mechanically inclined. However, with help from a few helpful people on this site, YouTube, and the info on backwater performance I have done quite a bit to mine
Heads, carb, exhaust, cam, and more.
Just take your time and do your research.

Re: DIY upgrades?
Some folks will let you install their upgrades. Heads, cam, tuner, reprogrammed ecu. Whatever. But that's up to the mods company and the individual. Or you can buy the stuff from bps and install it yourself

Re: DIY upgrades?
I love it. It’s perfect for the shallow rivers we have here. I don’t go through much “soupy” mud but it’ll go in about 3-4 inches of water on plane so I’m happy.
