OK i started playin around with my spare stainless 35 hp exhaust today to make it flow better and sound better!!!! I will try to keep yall updated as the build goes on!!!!

No i think im going to try it like that first LOL!! yes man i have to re weld the tail pipe and the ends and im still tryin to decide if im going to do a baffle or not!!!! and i see why these mufflers have no performance cause they have them choked up bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weld that baffle hole shut and have a pipe come out each side cap then do a 90 turn. 8-)

I've done a few like that and they sound great. They have a tendancy to backfire though.

just need a couple of restricter plates welded in front of the inlet pipes maybe half moon shaped

I gutted a non-stainless, didn't add any baffles, and welded the end caps back on.


Sounded like chit IMO

well guys i finished welding everything up today and bolted on and tried it and to my amazement it sounded alot better then i thought cause i was worried about it being really stupid loud and it isnt !!!! louder than stock of corse but a good mellow tone!!!! the camera i took video with is old so sound sucks on it!!! I will be puttin the boat in the water tomorrow to see what kind of gains i get from the exhaust and will let yall know!!!!

Thanks auto and man that chit is hard to weld very thin and not the best quality stainless for sure!!!!!! O and some help on loading the video it takes forever then it say internal server error????????????

O yeah Fella's i also have plans for makin a custon 35 exhaust (it's for a buddy the 1 that likes things loud ) im guessing its going to sound real close to a harley!!!!! LOL i order'd all the material for it today!!!

No super go-devil here just and old school mud boat !!!!! The shaft goes through the bottom of the haul on a 15 degree angle!!!!!

ok so i finally got to take the boat out today with the mod'd exhaust!!!! S i picked up 120 more rpm but i all so had an extra 70lbs in the boat that i normally don't have and with a boat as skinny as mine that's alot!!!! And the sound is awsome not crazy loud but a good mellow tone!!!! I'm 100% satisfied!!!! My buddy want's me to do his now after hearin mine!!!

We have done a few the same way but we put a bigger outlet in them. Like 2 1/4" pipe about 3" long that is slash cut.
