 GTR Seals...where to buy

Post GTR Seals...where to buy
Does any one know where you can buy the shaft seals from besides GT? I searched the web and came up empty...just dont have time to get to GT after work these days.

Call GT or Calen they usually have them. I cant find my part number list that had them. They have 2 single lip seals in the bearing housing. You need to unscrew the bearng housing (left handed threads) Tap out Bearing and BE CAREFUL NOT to destroy it. Then knock out the seals. Then drive new seals in so that lips face the prop and Do not let the seal lips touch each other. Also ur lower wear sleeve might be Worn aswell (that is what the seal rides on. Better to wear that than the shaft itself.

That makes sense!! Last time I did forget to install the wear sleeve first and it kicked my but trying to install from the prop side. I never thought about using the race!!Nice one
