I'm in Maine and have a 2010 Prodrive with a 27 hp Kohler. I'm wondering if anyone has ever replaced that engine with a 36 Vanguard??? Will the new engine bolt right up to the existing motor frame?? There's not much market for used mud motors up here and I would like more horsepower. If upgrading the engine was feasable, that would probably be the cheapest fix. My motor already has reverse and power trim |

Yeah, it will bolt right up. Very easy swap. Depending on where you order the engine from, you can probably get a 36 with the same wiring harness also. |
