I cracked the block on my 35 GTR and picked up a replacement engine that came with a new carb. Everything is identical to the old motor and carb except for what appears to be a vent line coming off the carb. The old carb doesn't even have a nipple capped off in this spot. Can anyone enlighten me on the purpose of this vent. Should I cap it, leave it as is. Just curious why it's there on the 2011 and not the 2010 model. |

Actually a pic of them both side by side showing the extra port would be best |

Figured it out. It's an emission thing. It's so u can run a vent back to the tank. |
