I'm planning on doing some mods on my GTR during the off season. I have a 35GTR on a 1854 GTB with hunt deck pointed bow and center console. Top speed empty 25 and suffers dramatically when my lard ass friends and lab load up to hunt. I'm considering doing cam valves heads pistons with twin Mikuni carbs. Projected new HP 55-60. Will the GTR lower unit transmission and belt hold up to these mods. Also which exhaust would be best flow and yet quietest? MM dual BPS Q ??? Thanks! |

I wouldn't do the twin mikunis. Maybe Craig or delta will respond, they are the gtr gurus. Westendangler has most of these mods on a 1860. Sent from my C771 using Tapatalk |

Single mikuni will give you more bottom end to haul the load compared to the duals |
