It appears when you have the hydraulic reverse, the lower unit soley relies on the reverse gear to hold it in place. I have already had to "jump" a tooth to get the play out of the lower unit from the last 2 teeth catching abuse. I was wondering if I put in a reverse pin if it would stop this from happening. I know it will add a step to the reverse process and whats the point of hydraulic reverse if you have to pull a pin but this seems to be an issue. Opinions....? |

Are you saying to call them for a pin? If so, that's fine but has anyone else had this issue or do you think this would help protect the reverse gear? |

I'm saying (and I also believe Owen is saying) is to call Peck and tell him the problem you are having with the gears. He will tell you the best solution to your problem. |
