The marsh b/t Slidell & Mandeville has a bunch of shallows, only thing is I think it's all Fed Refuge and they may have some rules about mudmotors.
You may have to run over the to Rigolettes/Chef Pass or by Pontchatoula.

Where is copperhead making their motors now?

They build them in Covington. Manchac is your best bet for mud. There really ain't no good mud on the northshore.

only place that you gonna find mudflats on the northshore is maybe at pearl river on a strong tide. With all the rain here in the past months all the water is high.

There is some mud out in the rice fields off of lake road in madisonville. Soon as I find a mud boat I will also be looking for some places to ride

I would highly recommend you do not screw up the ponds discussed above in madisonville. They are private and we are currently working to rebuild levees and maintain vegetation for the coming season. You dont wanna mess with that land...trust me.

Wait till late winter and go to pearl river WMA on the south side. You'll get your fill of mud

No problem, the fishing is pretty good in those canals, especially towards the back just dont access the ponds on the north side unless you are a member. We will be working on it this weekend through the following week if you out there come say hello.
