Post hungover repairs to the PD
knocked the carb off yesterday at the GWF mud run when I slapped a stump. Figured this wire tie-up deal would take some force off the carb on big stump hits. Also had a rear ending in a woods trail that coulda been a lot worse. Broke a weld on the exhaust and dented it pretty good, and bent the cav plate. The other boat broke his skeg off his brand new trolling motor and burned up some plastic on the mounting bracket.

Oh yeah....and this too!!!

If you want to swirl wine and stay in a room where politics and investment diversity are discussed (with no roaches) lake lanier is near Atlanta. If you wanna have an awesome time and maybe stay in a room where children were conceived on one side and someone got stabbed over an 8-ball on the other come on down I got a can of raid. :D

I'm pretty sure she stuck her ass out for the guy taking the pics. Here's another where she seems to be modeling; She gots the front and the back covered.

Just an FYI but that wire will cut into your carb from the vibration. I tried it and in no time noticed the cutting grooves on the carb. Be careful with that or you will be patching the carb holes. Of course you could call Gecker because he has some special JB Weld that he fills those holes with. The best solution without buying the carb plate from Rob is to degrease the boot and carb surface, RVT the boot and reinstal with a heavy duty clamp. That small hose clamp is not enough to really clamp down hard on the carb without stripping the clamp. I havent had any issues with that method since. Harleys dont get abused like a MM rig so it is probably fine for them. Just not in our application.

I tried it also with the same results. Cleaning the 2 surfaces is key. Once a boot comes off and the boot gets fuel and oil on it it will never hold without degreasing. A larger clamp will not fit into the skinny groove of the boot but that does not matter. Get a larger HD clamp and crank it down.

PS : with all that distraction riding in your boat, is it any wonder folks were running into it..............

Pulled them out, tapped the holes, and replaced with an allen head set screw with loctite.
