 23 hp V-Twin engine battery
Do not have pull start on motor. Came close to running battery down with trolling motor. what is the smallest battery I can use to crank this stock engine. Do not want to put too much weight in back of boat. Thanks for any info.

I used a motorcycle battery after finding the lawn mower ones didn't seem to take cold weather or road vibration all that well.

Re: 23 hp V-Twin engine battery
Why can't you put a pull start on it?

Re: 23 hp V-Twin engine battery
Where I fish I use trolling mtr alot and go many miles down stream from ramp. Feel better engine having its own battery. Dont really want to go to the expense of adding pull start. Most of trip is using engine for several miles then using t motor for the biggest part of the day then use engine to get back to ramp. Dont do alot of stop and go with engine. Thanks for info. Thinking about a small car battery or small marine.
