Wondering if anyone knows where to buy a prodrive exhaust? I would like something aggressive sounding. putting it on a stock motor, will it hurt anything? Preferably a twin exhaust...thanks for the input!

Which pipe do you recommend? its gonna be a bone stock motor. I want it pretty loud but don't want it to mess anything up. the BPS is about 100$ cheaper, but i want to make the right choice here. thanks for the input!

Marsh "mellow" ..... they sound awesome, low and deep. I have the one with the baffle.

You will gain a little power with any open exhaust even on a stock motor, the factory exhaust is VERY restrictive.

There was a used EVT for sale on this forum a few days ago. Might want to look for that if you really want it loud. I've got one on my pd and for long trips I wear shooting muffs to save my hearing!

from what i've heard marsh mellow is the better of the exhausts. im not sure what the difference is between the x and the regular. can anybody fill us in? I'm interested in one myself.

The Marsh mellow X is without baffles, then there is the regular with baffles. Bout sound great, the x is a little louder the the marsh mellow with baffles. The X will perform a little better than than one with baffles because of the unrestricted free flow. This is my motor with the marsh mellow X

Would you be able to put the X on a bone stock motor? don't plan on building mine. Idk if it has enough back pressure for it?

Post subject:  Re: PD 36 Aftermarket Exhaust?

Looks like the Q series is the only one that dont break...anyone with experience with this???

I have the old single outlet type, and it broke once,,,and was fixed quickly under warranty...so i will see how long it holds up now.

Prodrives are hard on exahust for sure.

Post subject:  Re: PD 36 Aftermarket Exhaust?

PD definitely hard on exhaust. Reading these posts starting to convince me that $500 better spent in time to build the dang thing! BTW if u want to hear them spring gobblers, tip toeing bucks, etc in the future, get some ear plugs (even stock they're loud). I'm thinkin 3/8 plate for brackets and schedule 40 pipe for the rest ;) 'cept that'll probably break the damn jugs off!

P.S. Mizzippi JB got a dude can fab 'em so they double as bumpers

My new motor has a marsh mellow, looks solid. I haven't ran it yet tho

Post subject:  Re: PD 36 Aftermarket Exhaust?

the marsh mellow i have has cracked one pipe off the cylinder, but its the old one...but was fixed under warranty real quick.

Now my podnas was the new double barrel and it cracked both brackets off!!!

I know i have about 100hrs on mine since the fix, but he only had about 50hrs on his new before it broke! I know my stock exhuast only lasted about 100hrs also...
