I have resently noticing that my boat has been listing speed and dosent jump on step as fast. I have a 35GTR on a 1946 Charles Leonard bateaux. The use to run 28 mph consistent and 26-27 with 2 people. Now it runs about 26 mph and 24 with 2 ppl. I've check the bottom of the boat for hooks or dents and wheel like new and never been in sand. I'm kinda pissed cause motor only has 50 hrs. I changed the plugs cause they were black and I always run non ethanol 93 octane. I'm thinking the valves need to be reworked. Any thoughts?

If water and grass wears done a prop in under 50 hrs then I'm going buy a paddle. And when I mean no sand I mean no sand. The props been in strickly swamp.

Will do buddy. If 12 1/16'' is a bad prop then I have one.

I experienced the same type of loss of power recently. I pulled my heads saturday and none of the valve are seated anymore. I have IM heads and 40 hrs on the motor.
