 Mudd Buddy 7000 HD
Hello everyone, I am new to the forum, My name is Jason, I have a 2011 Gator Trax 1750 super sport, with a Mudd Buddy 7000 HD. I have had numerous issues with my plugs fouling and running really rich, especially in the hotter months, both carbs are synch'd, I am running 180 mains, and 30 pilot jets. I notice that my stbd side carb when sitting in the boat and putting your ear to it flows nice and smooth, and my port side carb kinda has an interruped chug when you put your ear up to it. I have adjusted my valves to .007 as indicated on Mudd Buddy's website. But it seems when I idle this motor for any extended period of time, it loads up really bad and will not go to full throttle, it spits, pops, and backfires and then if you feather the throttle it will eventually clean itself up and run great. I am also wondering what is the best way to ensure the carbs are synch'd properly. I would have to think the jets are correct for sea level? Thanks for the input!
