I have an 18 hp mud muddy surface drive and took it out hunting for the first time in the dark yesturday morning. When I was running it I looked back the muffler was cherry red. Is this normal for a mud buddy?? Any help would be greatly appreciated....thanks |

Normal for the duals. Have not seen that on the others. |

My 20hp mblt's exhaust would do that. It was almost rusted through. The bottom barrel on my MM will turn red after long runs. |

Ok.....I have the stock exhuast on it and it only has about 55 hrs on it so the muffler isn't really rusted, just discolored. |

Mine has somewhere around 100 but it has done the same thing since I got it at 25 hrs Sent via telegraph |

Crossover on the 23 mb I had would glow pretty good. |

Thanks everyone for there responses. I was just afraid it was getting to hot and the last thing I wanted was to burn it up. |
