When i am starting the motor and it's hot, sometimes the motor backfires. This is a Vanguard 35 with exhaust, Mikuni, Head work, Cam, Rods, Flat top Pistons, EVT intake, Roller Rockers. Valve lash is set at 5 |

Check your exhaust for a leak. Mine was doing the same thing, and it was an exhaust leak. |

or readjust yur valves. possibly too much fuel. not all the fuel is being burned in the cylinder and igniting in the hot exhaust. |
